Hopefully I am posting in the correct place, if not I apologize.
Just purchased and installed Lite-On SHM-165H6S. Using AnyDVD, CloneDVD2 and Nero 7(all most recent versions)The problem is I have had fourcoasters using (2) Verbatim DVD+R DL (DataLife Plus)and (2) Verbatim DVD-R (4.7GB)also DataLife Plus.
I have never had one coaster using this media. Always great results
Is this because this drive does not like these type of Verbatim disc??? Out of five attempts I only received one good burn and that was on Verbatim DVD+R LightScribe media
Any suggestions?

Try this...
A Firmware Update.

You'll need to extract it with WinRAR first, though.

I have discovered (or potentially discovered) the problem may be on hub printable Verbatim disc. I seem to be able to burn now on DL and DVD+/- 4.7 but not on hub printable???

Has anyone had successful burns with this type media with this Liteon burner?

Thanks
