For ps2 there is black,call of duty series, and medal of honour series. Those are some of the best fps games out their for the playstation2.

If you're talking PC shooters, then "Half-Life 2" is the best you can get.
I haven't played "Fear", but I hear it's fantastic.....

I kinda like James Bond from Russia with love. It ranks top 10 shooting games in my oppinion.

Call of Duty 3 is the best shooter for ps2, Black is pretty but it gets very boring before the middle of the game. Check out 007 everything or nothing, and COD finest hour.

Oh yeah I was just listing fps. Well for third person shooters there are good ones like scarface, the godfather,final fantasy 7 dirge of cerberus, gta series, GUN and more...
