What is a Decent, Reliable, and Affordable Wireless Router that will work with our Nintendo Wii and also to be able to connect to the internet via Ethernet??
I really like DLINK routers. I have 3 of them (one at home, apartment, work), and they all work great. prices are very reasonable too... check out Newegg, tigerdirect, or even stores like bestbuy/circuit city...
All you need for wireless is a wireless router, a wireless card for your PC, and you're ready to go... if you want some PCs wired make sure you get a router with ethernet connection to go along with the wireless.
iv had a DLINK wireless router from pcworld it was on offer so i thought ill give it a go, i set it up worked great for 1 day then next day my laptop wouldn?t connect to it so i gave DLINK a call they gave me instruction on what i should to fix the problem, but it did not resolve the problem they said i should return it to pcworld. so i did, the guys down there said it was to do with my microwave and my cordless phone and they said they wouldn?t sell me another router i was really annoyed with them. next day i went online and looked up a NETGEAR wireless package, ordered it, came in the post next day, set it up, and has worked like a charm ever since in every part of my big house no dead spots no problems. Shows what the pc world staff know about wireless routers!
So I would recommend a netgear wireless router or a belkin as iv heard from my cousin there quite good is well.
RedZone i hav 4 pc in my home now i want all of them on cable network as they r already working through ethernet router. I just want my laptop on wireless. So if i buy LinkSys then will it work with already working ethernet router if yes then what should i do, mean should I connect the wireless router through ethernet by pulling a cable from ethernet to wireless or any other way. Becoz by doing this it willnt give me proper speed.
Can i use the Wireless USB adopter for my laptop to connect that wireless router?
