new to this message board glad I found it. Lately I have encountered when trying to insert a audio file in nerovision timelime, that reads"nerovision.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry........" and is now popping up all the time I try this proceedure. Whats going on? and any recommendations?

Does that happen with all files you try to insert or just certain types or files from certain locations. Try other file types and see if you can find some type of commmon thread with the errors.

How are you trying to add them to the timeline. It should not make a difference if you drag and drop or add using the dialogue box, but it appears it does. I added a video file by dragging and dropping and it would not play, but if I added the file through the dialogue, it would play.
