you could make your blue light stay on
you could play internet flash games
you could watch porn....
or
you could place it in a piece of card shaped like a face draw on a couple of eyes and you have a face with a wii for a mouth.
just an idea

okay to connect to the internet you need either
- a long usb cable to connect your pc to your wii
- a wifi connection (recommended)
- or a Nintendo Wii enternet connecter (not yet available, although the datel one is, use google)
to keep the blue light on - this isnt perfect, but unless you have a domain name were you can set up an auto responder its the best you can do
- you need to have the internet and have it connected to your wii
- open the Wii message board
- add a new contact with your email addy
- send a message
- reply to the email you recieve from your wii
- do not open the email, leave it unread
your wii light will mostlikely turn off when you insert a game and you will have to redo it all again, but give it ago

Yeah, just send an e-mail to wiimail@openoneware.com
It's set up to be an auto-responding server.
Also, check out the mod below:
There is in fact a "mod-chip" if you want to call it that. It is called Pulse VU. This particular mod-chip modifies the blue light so that it pulses to bass pulses.
If you want to check it out, go here:

@RavenLife - Yeah, I could have set one up...what's the point if there's already one out there? :)
@jrookie - If your asking what you'll need to get your Wii online, you'll need a cable/dsl modem and a router (preferably a Linksys). That's about all you need other than a computer to configure the router.

damn why do people say that - it doesnt matter which wifi you have, nor would it make it any better if it was a "linksys"
only the fact that you have a crappy modem (my personal oppinion, i can still have those)

@RavenLife - The only reason I say Linksys is because they're easy to find where I live; and I actually had a Belkin router, which didn't work with the WiFi (so yeah, it does matter what router you get). Now I have a Netgear and it works fine, as do plenty of other brands.
Yeah, I know I have a crappy modem; but my stupid ISP Provider told me that it is the only one compatible with their network.

I'm sure it has been mentioned on this thread, or perhaps another; but the WiFi USB Adapter has been known to significantly decrease the speed of the WiFi connection. You can buy a LAN Adapter, which would be faster. Also, I guess you could buy the WiFi USB if you were wanted to just use it for updates and maybe only on a temporary basis.
However, if you call Nintendo and ask them, they will only say that you should buy the WiFi USB Adapter because it would be the cheaper route to go (but not by much).
Also, I'm sure it won't decrease the speed all THAT much, but it will be noticeable. To some, something that is noticed is significant. Your choice.

@jrookie - If you're actually asking that question, then yes. Otherwise, my guess is that it's a rhetorical question?
