is it necessary to buy the nintendo usb to Ethernet adapter or can I buy any brand? will it work if its another brand?

Actually, I know for a FACT not all of them work, very few.

I'm using a D-Link Wi-Fi Router, and my Wii hasn't been offline since I first turned it on! Happy Days!

An if you do get Wi-Fi, heres a tip, turbo charge your Wii Updates by simply changing the Wi Fi channel on the router from 6 to 1, 9 or 11.
It speeds up by 5x, 10x some have even said 20x Faster!
