Did you toy with the router configuration to make sure you have the correct settings?
For one: Nintendo recommends that your wireless router be set to channel 1 or 11 to correctly communicate with the Wii.

iv had a DLINK wireless router from pcworld it was on offer so i thought ill give it a go, i set it up worked great for 1 day then next day my laptop wouldn?t connect to it so i gave DLINK a call they gave me instruction on what i should to fix the problem, but it did not resolve the problem they said i should return it to pcworld. so i did, the guys down there said it was to do with my microwave and my cordless phone and they said they wouldn?t sell me another router i was really annoyed with them. next day i went online and looked up a NETGEAR wireless package, ordered it, came in the post next day, set it up, and has worked like a charm ever since in every part of my big house no dead spots no problems. Shows what the pc world staff know about wireless routers!
So I would recommend a netgear wireless router or a belkin as iv heard from my cousin there quite good is well.

yes i was, for MANY months and using more than 1 Belkin router. The only thing i trust by Belkin are their (old style) KVM switches, i had at least 3 bits of separate Belkin equipment that gave me immense intermittent problems, as detailed in that link, so i never recommend Belkin, there are far better makes out there such as Linksys, D-Link, Netgear etc, for the same money..
