ImToo DVD ripper won;t complete!!! help please!!

Hi all
I'm using Imtoo dvd ripper platinum (registered copy-fully payed for) to convert dvd to AVI files for my archis av700..
the first 4 dvd's copied fine
however each one i've tried since won't complete
they get to 100% but don't complete even when left at 100% over night.
i've tried reinstalling the software but it has no effect...
when at 100% the progress bar at the bottom is at 100% butthe frame/bitrate etc is still going..
avc.exe is still running ( i have found that closing this fails the copy )
has anyone else come across this problem and does any have any idea on how i can get this to work??
there is nothing on the imtoo site with any ref to this and there pretty goddamn slow at replying to emails

any help would be much appreciated...thankyou
