i have ripped Rage Agianst The Machine: Battle of mexico city. first, i ripped it with SmartRipper, but with that program the sound on the vob didn't work when i ripped the 2ch audio and not the 6ch. so i tried clad, and with the frameserve setting, someway the program converted 5.1 to stereo. When i watched it in Power DVD, the stereo sound worked. But when i watch it in FlaskMPEG or make a Wav with DVD2AVi, there is still dolby 5.1. So i look on the settings for the vob, and sound mode is , dolby digital 5.1. So my question is, is there any way to convert 5.1 to stereo sound (i am trying to convert the dvd to just audio, so I can listen to it in my car, etc) before you make wav files of it. I (as said bfore) get the right sound in Power DVD. And when you download a rip for this DVD from DC, there is no ripper yet, that have successfully ripped it in stereo, it is 5.1 there to. But in AVI it's to late to convert it. Please help me here? (notice that the 2ch on the DVD is LPCM, and the 6ch is AC3.)
