Hello, my wii is not going online. I have a laptop picking up my wireless feed but I cannot get the wii to finish updates. I followed several steps including turning off all wireless and changing the router to 1,11 I've tried them all and I still get the error code about half way through my updates. Please help

i had the same problem i didnt know how to fix it your best bet is the buy a wi-fi conection

hi i had this problem but im online now. what i was doing was putting my password in instead of my network key for the wireless box.now all sorted just waiting for more classic games to be added

try turning your router on and then off while doing a connection test.

everything possiable to be done with the router was done switching channels turning off and on and nothing. Buying wi fi is out of the question I bought the wii with the intention of it already being online ready. I have the xbox360 and will not shell out the 100 bucks for the online uses it seems a rip off to buy nintendos wifi because the system has this flaw. There are never any other problems with my wireless products in my home just the wii.
