Does anyone know where is the best place for buying blank CD-R/DVD-R media in Australia?

none that I know of... best bet is to buy a wholebunch in US stores and resell in Aus.. You can make a bunch... good suggession media is Universal(buy-dvd-r.com), Pioneer, Mitsui, TDK... and those top brand media

don't ever buy bunch of cheap as xxxx media because you will end up with bunch of crap

Agree about the noname brands. But they are influencing the prices of brand name medias, at least in Tokyo. They cost almost half of what they used to be.
