Can someone direct me to a better program than Nero. With all the glitches, constant updates that never seem to rectify a thing, crashes etc. surely there is a better product that will do the same things that Nero does.

Hi.

It would probably help if we knew what your intended uses are. Are you backing up DVDs? Burning music CDs? VCDs? Converting AVIs to DVD?

There really isn't any suite of programs that's as comprehensive as Nero.

Good versions of Nero are:

Nero 6.6.0.18
Nero 7.0.8.2 (edit: corrected version #)
Nero 7.2.3.2
I think the current version is relatively OK as well.

I agree w laddyboy - Nero really is a pretty comprehensive package like no other.

Te latest version - 7.5.0.9a is good. I've been using it since it came out - mainly using Burning Rom, Express, Vision and Recode.

Also what problems are you having w/ it?
