If Clone CD will back up movies, too, is it necessary to purchase Clone DVD? Or does Clone DVD do a much better job of backing up movies? Are most CD's protected?
I can answer that easily: CloneDVD 2 can "Shrink" or "Transcode" the movie Very Well too I may add! CloneCD does not do that, CloneCD does an Excellent job of making 1 to 1 copies of CDs, DVDs , including Dual Layer DVDs. But, CloneCD doesn't transcode or shrink a movie. Regarding CD copy protection, this is becoming more prevelant lately.AnyDVD will take care of the "Root Kit" that Sony is famous for on Cds. They got sued over it too! LOL. I have all 3 programs I bought from Slysoft. I wouldn't do w/out any of them! Also, you must have AnyDVD to remove copy protection on Movies you want to back-up. Or, some form of Decryption. Most here will tell you that AnyDVD + CloneDVD 2 is The Best Combo for movies out there!
Also the Clone Cd will make a great DL back up all 3 programs IMOH are worth every penny and more. I'm not down playing the free programs, but ease simplicity and speed they're hard to beat. Chris
Yeah, these programs are worth every penny & more. If anyone plans to buy these, do it now before the prices go up 10 bucks per program. IMHO still worth every penny even after the increase. But, if you can save money, do it! You'll never regret purchasing these, especially AnyDVD ! Just look at how often AnyDVD Updates! They stay on top of it! Slysoft is to be commended!
