I was gettign the 3 reboot errors. so i soldered in the LPC hoels, all 15 of them, filled them up, and modded it. It worked, there was no 3 reboots, but nuthing else happened either. when i inserted the chip, it just flashed red all the time, and sometimes blinked once green. i changed the mode to always on and turned the baby on and it turned green like it is supposed to. but the bios doesnt seem to have been over ridden. maybe i just have the wrong bios, can someone please mail me a copy of a bios for xbox's made after september 2002. i think that is version 1.1, my emial address is alydewji@hotmail.com. its only 256K. thanks, any other suggestions will be helpful.

On the 1.1 XBOX the matrix chip WILL only flash green briefly in mode 1 and then red.

This is the expected behaviour.

ok, so i now know i is a xbox 1.1. now what? it just doesnt seem to override the opriginal bios? why is that? do you have a copy of a clean working bios file?

When you boot up and you get to the 'X' does it not say Xecuter2 at the bottom of the screen?

Have you tried a Evox boot CD yet?

I am sure that if you boot the modded XBOX up without Evox it works as a normal XBOX, which maybe what u are seeing.

i dunno anything about the CD. can you explain more about this boot cd and i can make one and try it out. where do i get the cd image from. and what do i do excatly. And i popped in a different region game, and it gives me a "different region" error just as it does when you usually put a diff region game in an unmodded box.
