My Verizon FOIS internet (Should be extremely Fast) dosent work right. It sometimes connects but can barely (or never) finishes an update. What can be changed to help fix this problem?

not much considering verizon is dsl not broadband so your problems are most dsl services is not your fault but the fact that only broadband is supported

What is the difference between broadband and DSL? I thought it was exactly the same thing, because broadband basically means it is always on, and DSL is always on too. How are you connecting to the internet? Are you going through a modem/router or straight to the wall? If you are using a router there could be some seetings in the router that can prevent stable connections. I have a PS2 (sorta similar) and I need to enable NAT to get mine running smoothly. Hope that helps!
