hi guys n gals, i fell for the ebay offer of the ipod clones and bought 2 1Gb models for my daughters. They have no name badges or identity info on them. First time i plugged them into my computer they charged up ok, and they were recognised as removable drives so i was able to drag and drop approximately 20 mp3's on to each and they worked ok. Now they have run the batteries flat on each and when i plug them into my computer they will not charge. By this i mean that after leaving them plugged in for a while (the battery shows as charging on the player) then unplugging them and trying to turn them on the screen just flashes on and off for awhile then goes dead. Have tried charging them with the off/on switch on and off to no effect. There was no mains charger supplied with them so i can't try that. Can anyone help with this problem? Is it just dead batteries or something more sinister?
