Is there other people out there that think there should be more then one section on the wii? I'm not a hacker and it would be nice to go to the wii general and not have to wade thru the mods and hacks to get to just gameing stuff.

Are you saying that AfterDawn is a PS2 orientated website or are you saying that I should just up and leave AfterDawn?

i am saying neither
i am saying that in terms of gaming - AD Forums have a Broader Range in a single forum, unless its for the PS2 or XBox, but thats because its a far bigger subject, and an established one at that
where as you will find that Wii Sites (Wii orientated) have more forums, each on a differnt subject
IE
Games forum
hack forum
Developer forum
and such, AD is the best Forum Community on the net, i would never recommend people to leave, i usually recommend them to join
you just shouldnt limit yourself to one place is what i mean

well the wii is alot newer then the PS2 and look at the other next gen systems the 360, and the pS3. Afterdawn does not hate teh Wii they just have not gotten aroung to making another part to teh Wii. (Moderator please correct me if what I just said was wrong.) But themind I do see what u r sayin I do have to look more then I do in some of the other sections like PS2 for example. Im sure Afterdawn is tryig to get more sections in the Wii forum.

i doubt very much that they are (at this time)
the wii - aswell as the ps3 and 360 are still in there infancy.
The PS2 and XBOX have a massive user base and there Hacks and Mods are very much established. this is the reason they have so many forums.
whats the point in having 6 Wii forums, when the one they currently have only Gets 10 - 20 new threads a day (if that)
its overkill

Good point, now that I think about it I bet that Afterdawn will not ad another section or not anytime soon. (I hope they do) but I dont think tehy will. They will for 360 and PS3 but as Raven said they all are still in their "infancy"

once the wii's userbase builds - to a level that requires another forum - i am sure they will add a new forum
supply and demand.

The point is there really isn't that many posts every day in this particular section of the forum ("Nintendo Wii - General Discussion") so there isn't much to "weed" through. When there is a larger Wii fanbase here and when people start moding it more, the discussions will pick up and maybe then AD will pick up a few extra Wii forums.

My thought was, and I hope this doesnt blow anyones mind, wouldnt it be nice to have more then one? Now think about this question without thinking about the afterdaun norm. hmmmmmmm. wow that would be nice.

I would say 360 needs a new forums before wii, because it gets alot more hack talk than wii. Also why do you care how many each console sells?
