will the Wii be able to play great graphic games other than the interactive games?..........not that they're not good

The Wii's graphics are defenitly a step up from the Gamecube, but there graphics can't compare with the xbox 360 or playstation 3.
Who cares about graphics though,
the point of game consoles is to have fun.

i think that the zelda graphics are great
yes there certainly nothing compared to what the ps3 can offer
but consoles are meant to immerse the user
zelda does that... trust me

Personally, I dont care about graphics. The gameplay and storylines and the basic idea of the game have to be great. I mean, graphics isnt always the basis of a great game.

No you don't, but everyone has just said that the games on the Wii are great inspite of the lesser graphics. This console should be added to anyones home for the gameplay not for the graphics as the PS3 seems to be.

Yeah that is very true, I truly think the PS3 is all visual, but as I said before, visual doesn't matter. Good value for the system and great games matters to me, and to be honest, I hate the look of the PS3 and I hope it flops (sorry fanboys.)

i've been playing zelda lately and have to say the graphics aren't an issue despite it being a gamecube game! sure,some areas and textures are a bit poor but places like death mountain caves and sacred grove are beautifully made. one thing nintendo know how to do is make a game look good, think resi4,imo one of the best looking games (if not the best) from last gen. (and yes i know it was capcom but you know what i mean!)

I'm not arguing that the wii doesn't have good gameplay, i haven't played one so i won't know what to think of it until i do. What i'm saying is for everyone thinking the wii is oh so much better than the ps3 because it's got better gameplay: I have a sneaking suspicion that the ps3 will have quite a few games on it that will be really fun to play and they'll be pretty at the same time. I think most people here haven't given either console enough time to really show us their balls

They might be really fun to play and look pretty, but the cost of the console is very prohibitive just for the better graphics........and the Wii is really fun to play for less than half the price.

yeah the ps3 IS way too expensive for what it does... i'd rather keep my left nut thank you

I think Wii graphics are in some games (like Zelda) are better then what PS2 adn Xbox has too offer in most games.
If you do not have fun saying guacamole then you are not saying it right

i would hope it's got better graphics, it's not like it would be that expensive to build a console capable of such a thing for really cheap...

But the question is here, will the Wii be powereful to fit peoples needs? Sure its graphics are better than the ps2 or Xbox, but thats why new ones were brought out. I think people are to graphic these days and dont actually "play" the game, but rather look at all the pretty things that happen. The Wii is definatley innovative, but do you think that it will be able to be more successful than the 360 and PS3?

In short terms, yes, long time, don't know, ps3 have so many fans and great games, while nintendo is tying to reach the hole family, so far people like the wii, i got both, wii and ps3 and what i hate of the ps3 is the wight, size and prize, absurd.
