Please hear me out. It had turned out to be a blessing that my windows xp pro had crashed on me recently, causing me to format my entire 250 gig WD Caviar HD and start all over again, because before the crash I never got any green smilies in Azureus.
After reinstalling windows and Azureus, and finally solving my portforwarding problem( I had added 10 instead of 1 as the final digit to where I had to fill in my IP adress in my modem's router), I suddenly had green smilies all over the place. Downloads were soaring at massive speeds. Reasons abound for me to smile as well.
Then, a quake hit Asia and mangled some of those fine fiberoptic lines on the bottom of the ocean. Now, I'm in Europe, but ever since this quake I've been unable to reach some sites, alot of other sites take ages to load, and, coming to the point: Azureus downloads, though still showing green smilies, have virtually dropped to a standstill.
Suddenly, I have to be content with download speeds ranging from under 1 Kilobyte/s to 3.5 Kilobyte/s average, while others stay dead for days. This has been going on since that Asian earthquake. Now it's probably a weird cooincidence, but if anyone has any idea as to the cause of this sudden inertia, or has experienced the same issues, please be a friendly chap and help me out.
Hhmm, I tried that, but it made no difference. It's really odd. I have all these big seeded and leeched torrents on download, but zero on the download. Just a week ago I had one torrentfile suddenly booming to an average of 271 Kb/s, but others stay dead. Maybe I'm downloading prank torrents? Thanks for trying to help though.
Now I've been noticing that any torrent I added since last week doesn't work anymore. They don't do anything,I stay dead at 0 active seeds, 0 active peers while the inactive ones listed in brackets list well in the hundreds. I am clueless here. Plz help me out.
