Has anyone been able to lay RW backups with their modded xbox? I plan to use Ridata DVD+RW to playback movies but my old ps2 could do DVD+R but not rw. I know it can be console specific and all, but just curious if anyone has been able to do it first before I buy any.

yes some dvd drives can read RWs, do you know what drive you have?

I know some can. I was just curious if anyone was able to use them on a standard xbox.

I've put backups on RW's and they have worked fine for me. So ya, you should be fine.

I have 50 verbatim DVD+RW they work great on the xbox and the 360 as well..
