Hey guys,
Hope the new year is all that... Have a good year ahead. Guys, need some help. Got a Pioneer DVR-107D. It's fine for the most part. However, i discovered thath recently when i place a blank 4.5GB dvd in the rom it's listing in windows explorer changes from DVD-RW Drive to CD-RW Drive. This happens everytime i place a blank DVD in the rom before burning onto it. As a result, i've been unable to burn anything to DVD using Nero 7 or Ashampoo burning rom.

Please advice.....

Run this update for your drive.

It's the latest firmware, which enables your drive to burn new disks. :)
