hey manky thanks for your reply

I have been reading up on this fonix ispeak, Do you know what is the lastest version? I have looked up on the website fonix.com and fonixspeech.com and cannot find anything in 'ispeak' only text to speech but they call it something else.

Anyway, when i say that i am after a piece of software that can read a piece of text into a robot voice, well what i mean by robot voice is that the sort of voice i am after is the kind that you see on TV where people are trying to hide their voice so they stay anonymous, can you get that from this fonix ispeak?

You know it's that kind of spy robot voice you hear in the movies.

Take a look at a program called "Dragon NaturallySpeaking". It's a voice recognition program but I think it may be able to do what you're suggesting.
