Hello, A couple a years ago i had a prob with my xbox, and i would not be able to fix it. I tried asking here but i wasent Specific enough ( I was lazy) Anyways Let me explain my situtation.
Does any1 here know what deep freeze is for computers? Well when u reset it deletes everything that u got/downloaded.
Same with my EVOX Dash board. I only have 2 options ( Start Game and Settings) I cannot acceess my Backup games or anything. How do i get more options avaible?
One time i remeber i got mad, and during FTP i deleted EVERY FILE from my xbox. And if im correct, when u do that yur xbox is suppose to break... Mine didint.
It was normal.
So everytime i transferd/Deleted a file, it would never stay.
O and i also have ERROR 16 on my ms dash.. If any1 can help me it would be nice
well if you were smart enough to get a mod chip
rather than softmodding your system then you can solve
the problem by getting Slayer 2.7
format the drive clean then reinstall the dashboard and all the
apps it has and you will have a fresh and new Xbox
With a softmod i am not sure what you can do, if you can still
FTP you can try just getting the newest EvoX and download it then
FTP it to the C: partition and it should correct any dashboard problems
If you have no FTP then you may have to look into something they call a "hotswap" where you can rebuilt the hard drive using your
PC.
