NeroVision Timed Recording

I have a DirecTivo and a Panasonic DVD Recorder on which I record Tivo shows. I've recently started to get a higher occurrence of coaster creation, so I installed a tv tuner card (Hauppauge).

On the Panasonic DVD Recorder I have, I can set the record time up to two hours. This greatly helps in the ability to "set it and forget it".

Is there such a way to set NeroVision to record for a specific time? Or another program possibly?

Have you looked into the Nero Home or Nero Media Home utilities that come with Nero 7? I don't have them installed so I can't check. I also don't have a capture card so I can't check NeroVision 4, but I don't think it has a timing feature.

There are also other utilities, like Myth TV, that might do what you want, but that is another forum.

I know SageTV doesn't have it. It has been requested though. I'll also look into MythTV to see if they have it.

I'll look at my Media Home to see if it may be hidden or deeply menu'd.

There is a timed option!

In my video sources, I have tuner, four composites, and two s-video. Once I started messing with which one worked, I got different options available.

Thankfully one of the composites enables all options, one of which is the timed recording option.
