Hi,

We are trying to convert DVD movies to an AVI format. We have Nero 7 Ultra Edition, and have been unable to figure out how to convert the files to AVI. The movies copied to my hard drive fine but they're like 4.5 gigs in IFO and VOB format, and we want them in a smaller format. Can Nero do this, and if not are there any suggestions. I downloaded one converter, but it takes almost three hours for one movie, I'm sure there's one that is more acceptable. Thank you in advance!!

Hello.

Nero Recode will convert an unprotected DVD to mpeg4. The length of time to do so depends on the speed of your processor, the original size of the file, and the conversion bitrate selected.
