Problems with DVDX 2.2

Hey, I recently downloaded DVDX 2.2, and it reads the disc and everything, and can play it and encode the file and it plays in media player. But, its on some sort of fast-forward type thing. Like when I encode the video, it encodes it fast, and then when I play it, the video is fast and the audio is fast and partly cut-off in parts. For example:
From "The Empire Strikes Back"
Han: "Highness"
Leia: "Thought were eave?"
Han: "Ord chane mind."
Han: "Come on!"
Leia: "Yes! Fighter!"
Han: "Feel about ee!"
Leia: "Iss wah-key!"
Han: "Range at!!"

Yeah, its bizarre. There's nothing wrong with the picture or audio quality, just the encode rate is fast or something, and I have no idea how to fix it. FYI- I've tried it with multiple DVDs, so thats not the problem. Thanks in advance.
