Well, Nero doesn't do floppies.

It will burn image files and it does bootable media.

The best thing for you to do would be to download the free trial and try it.

There is an Ultra and Premium version. They depend on what part of the world you are from.

Help files might give you some direction if you don't want to download the entire thing.

Nero Burning ROM is the main DVD/CD burning software. Nero Express is a smaller version. Other utilities (NeroVision and Recode) have to do with Video manipulation and some for labels. Some audio utilities, a Hard Drive backup utility, Media utlities, etc.

If you download and try, but don't want to buy, use the clean tools for Nero 7 to remove left over files.

What do you mean by this ... it'll span files and folder across a span of floppies.

Is your reply a statement or question?

The website you posted says that software will write to floppies. I don't believe Nero will. I do not have a floppy drive installed, so I can't check.
