DS is the Answer to Wii Homebrew?

What do you think of this thought?

Maybe the answer to running homebrew on the wii will come from being able to connect the DS to the Wii. As the DS has passcards and supercards and the homebrew is active on the DS. Maybe when the wii is updated to link these two, we could create some sotware on the DS to allow us to run unsigned code and backups on the Wii.

errm, I think that its not impossible but I don't think its very likely, because I think the DS connectivity is only going to be available to some games, and I think that you can only send software to the DS like demos of games.

I think the real key is to hacking it, is the same way we done the ds via online update spoofing the online service, making the Wii think its connected to the Nintendo server, and then sending a hacked firmware download to it, but that aint going to be for the fain hearted.

And most likely not work and brick a lot of Wii?s.
