I am looking for first person shooter games that you can save (anytime) instead of game levels, similar to Wolfenstein.

Unsure about saving anytime, but I hear the Timesplitter series are meant to be awesome.

The Half Life series (available on PC and Xbox) are brilliant First Person Shooters which allow you to save anytime.. and they have great online play also.

most games now use auto-save thats why you only have save games at the end of levels or in the checkpoints

you just have to adjust to that ,call of duty and medal of honor series are good

Call Of duty 3,Moh I know its not first person shooter but 007 Everything or Nothing is one of the maddest shoothing games and any Shoothhing game fan will love the game and trust me its more challenging then any of the ones said including both of mine,just a thought though.
