I put mine in a CD Binder. I used to keep them in the spindle they came in but then I couldn't find anything. The Cd Binder seems to be the best solution. What do you do?

Well I store them in disc cases, preferably case logic. I do this because where i live CDS (Im not talking about dvds) are attacked by some weird form of bacteria that renders unsable if it attacks the data area.
Also I do this to prevent disc from scratching.

i alo keep mine in a cd binder, i find it easier and quicker to find dvd's and much less space, and cheaper than buying jewel cases all the time.

I use a plastic case that holds 420 discs in sleeves. These sleeves have index number on them and I just look up the title and find the index on the spreadsheet. Since I use a computer to feed my projector anyway, it's not a big hassle.

It's $119.
It's supposed to hold 1200 discs.
How many discs to I have? Beyond count! I've the case about 2/3 full. There's at least twice that many more I haven't put in DVDProfiler yet. I record a lot of movies from TCM(Turner Classic Movies), and I buy way too many movies!
I think I need to hire someone to catalog the darn things.
Here's a link to Meritline.

I use one from meritline like the one used by Capt57. However, mine is the "smaller" version and it will hold 510 DVDs. I just burned #354 yesterday. I got it on sale (plus free s/h) over a year ago, and I think it was $35.00.

Once you resign yourself to the fact that you are going to have a huge collection, being able to see them all in their cases stops being so important.
btw, great looking collection!
tsquare43: Sorry about your loss. That was a rough game!
taylor30: I like the look of that case. Looks like a good way to still be able to look at the case art.

Do Binder cases scratch your discs after time?
and how about the paper one's ?
I noticed there are differnt materials used on differnt kinds of these, which one is the best?
It has to scratch from slideing it in and out so many times right unlike jewel cases?
Thanks for your input

NINVIN21 , most the better binders have a liner in the sleeves so they don't scratch the DVD. the case logic are some of the best out there
