I just got a m3 simply for my son and can't get it to work. I formatted the micro sd "pny 1 GB" to Fat . Then copied the 3 files they say to copy"" _DS_MENU.DAT ; _DSMSHL.NDS ; and Shell folder);"" then I copy and paste a rom xxx.nds to the the sd .When I boot the nds up I see the M3 menu and i select game and it gives error. I can see the game with the other 3 folders but nothing works??thanks

i dont undrstand, i did every thing same as u and mine works fine. the only difference is that i made a game folder as well and copied the roms into that game folder. i click on that game folder and i can see games on top screen, i can scroll threw them and i see little pics of the game on bottom screen, and i just run it and it works, i even added a few mp3s as well and them worked too. i dont think this post can help u much but im letting u know it worked fine for me, doing almost exactly everything u did. i hope u figure it out, good luck...

I do not yet have anything else for my DS than a DS, but I think that what the person who replied before me is saying is right. I have had some MP3 players that won't recognise the files before they were put in a folder. It's very possible that it will help you.

maybe the micro sd card gone bad. cause i buy a new micro card, and when i do that at my EZ flash IV, it give somekind of error. then it broke. when i retun it,got anew one. it work fine. if this keep happening just retun it. it might the same case.

Have you tried with any other games to ensure it not a bad rom?

Try formatting the card to FAT16 with 64k clusters, this fixes issues like this on the Slot-2 versions, maybe it will on the Slot-1 version?

Has the game previously been patched? if so try a clean dump.

Try downloading the latest software, i hear 1.1 has recently been released?
