How can we help you if you don't give us ANY INFORMATION?
We don't know what games you're trying to play or what your computer's specs are, so unless you tell us that, we can't help you.

I'm gonna play with this post...first let's look at it.

First observation... No capitalisation. Makes it hard to read.
Second " " " ... Punctuation..once and in the wrong place
Third " " " ... "to make me play all".. If you need forcing to play them why did you buy them? They can't be all that good.
Fourth " " " ... Ok..a little information here.. The screen goes black.. Could the monitor be going into powersaver mode? Is the graphics card broken? Are all the cables attached firmly? What OS is running? What game is it? Is it only this game or are others doing the same? Is your computer showing any other signs of distress like randomly crashing or locking up? Is this real bought software, or downloaded pirated stuff?...

Can you see what I'm getting at here? Where do we start, and where are we supposed to go with this.. Let's face it. I can't be arsed trying to begin to help you unless you can be bothered to give SOME details of your exact problem, and what steps .. if any .. you have taken while attempting to fix it.

If you think that's an over the top response to yet another lame and lazy post on Afterdawn you know what you can do about it.

Against my will, I'm posting. And I'm agreeing with you guys. This is a pointless thread if you give nothing in the way of details describing your problem a little more. But, here we go.

My first reaction after seeing the title was "Oh, I know what this chappie means." and what I expected to find was someone with little technical know-how involving PC performance. I think that's been reinforced by your lack of description.

What I will say, though, in the hope of turning this thread into one with a point to it is that I've seen a program which can emulate your PC in a safe environment.

Take a look at this YouTube video. The person runs a program called a 'Virtual Machine' which he uses to open a virus from the well-known (and indeed, well-hated) myg0t online gaming clan. The virus is sp0rkeh which I'm sure most people have heard of and the Virtual Machine program shows the consequences of running a virus without actually harming the actual PC in any way.

I have no idea if this is the sort of thing you were getting at, dessygee, but this program can't and won't emulate a PC with a better performance than your own. In fact because it's just a program running on your machine, it'll have less performance.

Performance comes from good hardware and the correct software, having only one or the other won't give you very much at all. So no, you can't emulate a higher-performing PC if you don't have the hardware at your disposal.

I can't really finish by saying my usual 'Hope that helps' and 'Good Luck' because no one knows exactly what you are talking about.

What I'll say instead is I hope you understand that in future, you won't get anywhere without giving sufficient information and as a piece of advice, spend a little bit more time thinking your forum posts through before posting. You'll get much more informed replies that way.

PSP 1.5 > devhook 0.51 BETA emulating firmware 3.01 > 3.03 OE-A > 3.03 OE-B > 3.40 OE-A
