Yeh maybe my best bet as I've always had playstation, i can use there controllers but only if game doesnt require to many buttons at once. had a 360 but controller was to slippery as i rest them on my leg to play.
Wish I could show game designers my hands and say work out something for people like me.

i wouldn't recommend a ps3 allthough you can control most aspects of a ps3 game with the tilt sensor you cannot play the games with just the tilt sensor i would recommend the wii but both the wii and the ps3 require broadband to fix firmware related issues and are needed

I'm in UK by the way.
I've decided when I get my new Samsung 32" HD LCD TV which I'm swapping a laptop for, I'm goin to get another 360 then a Wii and ps3, try the games and just go for ones I can play. Plus hopefully getting my hands operated on again this year should expand my hands to be more usefull.
And if it all fails theres always Ebay to sell my stuff, or give a family member a gr8 xmas present this year.
Thank you for your suggestions.

I have rare genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa, which means my skin is missing certain genes that make it, meaning my skin blister and rips if I'm knocked or to much friction is applied. So due to all the friction and blistering my hands have slowly closed up into fist like state, I've had over 12 operations on them but they always end up the same, some people with my condition only have stubbs where there hands once where. I'm 26 yrs old so its just a part of life now, and best thing is I can actually drive a normal automatic car without adaptions, as I have learned to adapt myself to day to day living.
You can find out more through the official website, www.debra.org.uk

lol well, im pretty sure you can plug in a GameCube controller, or buy the "Wii Classic Controller" if that could be any easier to hold..
Wii Classic
Nintendo Game Cube Controller
im not sure HOW to use that controller.. but im sure its possible.

The classic controller is only widely used for Virtual Console games, whereas the GameCube controller is only compatible with *some* games.
It seems to me that since many of the games don't even require much button usage, you could probably find a way to play games like Wii Sports. Granted, I don't fully understand your condition, but I'd think that if you can swing your arm, you could still manage somehow.
Perhaps something like Excite Truck would be possible? If you rested it on your knee and could still tilt it from side to side, you could get the hang of it. With some practice, that is. And that'd be quite an accomplishment :)
If you do decide to try out a Wii and like it, let us know!

I can use my thumb and pointing fingers on both hands, I can expand them enough to hold a pen, and with stretching I can hold a dvd case. Its all down to keeping moving in all things you do in life, its the same with my mouth its realy small but with alot of stretching exercises I can end up with quite a big mouth.

Well I've had 26yrs to adapt, I've been driving an unadapted car since 97, its just a normal automatic, basically I use my palms to grip steering wheel and as for key, handbrake and gearlever I use both hands. My condition gets better and worse its all down to adapting to your day to day life, I used to biuld pc's, I've moddified and repaired games consoles at one time, I just do what I can when I can, I'm into buying and selling mobiles at the moment, though I have just replaced a laser in a Slim PS2.
My life spam isnt very long once I hit 30 so I'm just making the most of life while I can.
