MP3 to library to itunes

I bought the bible in MP3 format. I have tried everyway I know to add it to my library so I can put it in itunes to put in my ipod.
I am not very computer savy so could you explain in terms I might understand how to do this?

the other way is to, click on menu button at the top of itunes, then look down the menu and click on "add file", choose where you are keeping your mp3 file, click ok and itunes should import the file into the music library.

or like the other fella suggested: in windows open up where you are keeping the mp3 file, have i tunes running, make sure you have it open on the music library and select and drag the file over to itunes where it should be added to the music library.
