playback issues with psx games using Breaker Pro 1.1 ntsc

I recently purchased a breaker pro disc after almost a full year of using swap magic. I attempted to play a backup of Road Rash and Road Rash Jailbreak (both are NTSC).

Road Rash froze at the loading screen

Road Rash jailbreak gave horrible graphic glitches that make the races impossible.

I tried searching this and other forums but found little luck. Anyone that can help, I would be very grateful, thanks!
