I downloaded a torrent file (Castlevania for PSX) and now I have a .iso file. Can someone tell me what to do from now? I would want to play it on my PS1 (I have the mod chip).

I'm a real noob in burning iso files so don't go too fast lol :)

thx

You can use Nero or any other burning software to burn image I would recommend Dvd Decrypter Download. Just load it up in any of these programs and burn it at a slow speed so it doesn't lag while playing 4x should be fine.

ok so I created a data disc with Nero, I added my iso file (the only file of the game) and I started the process at 2x speed. It didn't work. I also tried with another game (a .bin and a .cue file) and it didn't work either. What should I do?

Don't burn it as a data disc.

Burning PS2 Images w/ Nero Burning ROM (http://www.nero.com)

1) Insert quality CD media into your drive
2) Open Nero Burning ROM
3) Close the New Compilation window
4) Go to Recorder->Burn Image
5) Browse to your image file
6) Make sure Simulation and Determine max speed boxes are unchecked
7) Check Write and Finalize Disc boxes
8) Set Write Speed
9) Click Burn

Good Luck!

Hint:- don't burn at more than 16x... 4x is optimal as the ps1 is an old device and expects slow disks.

thanks,

But there's one thing I noticed : When I select my image file, I see that Nero burning ROM doesn't allow me to select .bin files. Is there a way to fix that?

Woops there's another problem : when I select my .iso file, it says that ''The entered block sized does not correspond the image lenght. The block size may be wrong''. Then there's a window where I can modify the image type, block size and some others...
I tried to burn it without changing anything and it didn't work on my PS1.
