First off will a PCI-Exspress Crossfire graphic card work in a normal PCI-Exspress slot? I just wanna use 1 card.....

Ok im debating on which of these 2 card to get. But i need to know the Min power supply requirements. My pc uses a standard 300watt psu and i need a ok card that doesnt need a extra power cord plugged into it. (plug the card in and go type card) Here are 2 cards im looking into and i dont know the min power requirements. I dont game alot on my pc and dont plan to upgrade the PSU.... Which Grahic card is better and could you post the min power requirements for both? i cant seem to find them even on the manufactor site. Thanks

This one looks nice but whats its min power requirements http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102040

This is my 2nd choice i dont know if its better or not.... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102048

First off, yes, a single card will work fine. X-fire is an ability, not a requirement, for GPUs to communicate over PCI-Express.
Secondly, the X1300XT is pretty much an X1600Pro in disguise. Both are running the same amount of memory over the same GDDR2 bus. There are overclocked versions of the X1300 that might perform better but I would recommend that x1600 over the x1300 any day. Benchmarks show a considerable jump in performance, and the power requirements are both around 30 watts.
If you want to take another jump up, go for the x1600XT. It's the next level of performance and it would only cost you about $10-$30 more on newegg.com.

i had this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814131007 while it ran doom 3 and halo on high pretty good. The problem was the first one played games well but on videos it had a memory problem causeing green squares, so i got a replacment and it fixed that well i had it for a week or so and sometime it would turn my screen black (but wouldnt reset the pc just screen went black and when i first got the 2nd card it had a noisy fan so i think the fan was defective. So i send it back again and they refund my money since its not in stock. So im looking for a better brand since that card was a defective mess.

But id like to know if the x1600 is better then the x800gto? i think that brand is junk tho i got it because it was in my price range.

I've never heard of that brand "PowerColor", but I do know that Saphire packages very good ATI cards. I'd still recommend the x1600 over the x800 because of the 800's unimpressive clock speed.

At this point, the x1600pro should run any game that is out in very good fashion. Both the core and memory on the x1600pro are clocked faster than that x800, correct.

Is the x1600pro chip as good as a x800gto? Also the x800GTO has 256bit this x1600pro is 128bit. Which matters most on a gpu? bit size or memory speeds?

I'd say the x1600 outperforms the GeForce 6800.
