M:robe mp3 problem

hey guys i need some help, awile ago i got an m:robe mp3 player that lights up red lol. anyway lately it wont play songs, well actually it does. The thig is i can see it playing but the headphone jack i believe is messed up cuz the sound pops in and out with static as well as no sound at all, since i dont have the warranty in affect any longer and the item is discontinued in production (i believe) then is there anything i could do next to selling it for parts or somthin to that on ebay
