This question maybe comes a little early but what do you all think is next,after the wii,ps3,xbox 360?
I'm thinking something like virtual reality!

I doubt it I mean we only started playing full 3D games 10 years and 4 months ago,I reckon every console will use a controler like the wii mote but better graphcs.

well i know one of the major tv companies is working on 3d tv (cant remember if its samsung or phillips, probably the latter)
either way - im not sure how its going to work - but presumably it will allow for 3d gaming - so possibly a "true" 3d console could be possible.
highly doubtful but possible
my guess would be an update to what we have now.
maybe the consoles after that would be more interesting...

i don't understand why they don't make virtual reality and things similar.I mean they have the material and hardware for it so,why not?

After these comes something pretty special. It may even be way before another console gets released. Lets just say Im sworn to secrecy, but the need for hackers and hacking is over.
As for consoles... im not sure. Maybe a Sony MS Entertainment system.

i think you made that up
as for virtual reality
there are many things you arn't considering
im assuming you mean something similar to star treks hollo deck
which is cool, but highly unlikely your ever going to see something similar in the home, the reason? you would need a multi directional moving track for a floor. that would move as you walk. otherwise you would be continuely in the same spot. also it would need to be an empty room. so you would need a game room.
anyways jsut pointing out a few things

There are new planes that are able to be controlled with the mind... why not a game like that ... even more interactive than the wii.. you think of moving an arm and the character does so... that would be awesome

Triple most first of that kind ive seen you must have 28.8kb/s net and it wouldnt load.

Well I doubt we will see a 720 its just so stupid for a name WHo knows what nintendo will do next they have a habit of making one revolutionary the next just the same but with improvments Like teh Nes was a revolution while the Snes was based around the same revolution with better parts CPU,GPU etc
The N64 was another major revolution the Joystick and 100% 3D while the gamecube was practically a N64 with better graphics cpu and new media with the smae controler about 70% same a Wii is revolutionary the most since god knows when id say the N64 while Nintendos next console might follow this path and give us High end parts and this wii-mote but a bit better and who ever says nintendo wont use power is wrong because when the N64 came out on my box i got it in 1997 it said "The Worlds Fastest And Most Powerfull Gaming System" Whihc sorta makes you think that they care about power whihc i think they do.

wowowowow a full complete inmerse VG ownage, that would rock but..... scary too, too much technology and less social interact, oh well, that hell with social interact.

I just sense that the next console generation is going to be huge.
The reason being that there is so much cool amazing technology out there.
As almega said we have technology capable of reading our minds; to a certain point; but the most futuristic they can come up with is the wii.
As much as i love my wii I think its all about making money what im saying is that they could probably come out with something ten times more advanced then any console yet but decide not to so that they can make a profit from selling the less advanced stuff.

lol im actually on 5mbps dsl but i was converting sum psx isos to psp so i can play them and my pc slowed down

Most likely but lets hope that the PS3 is succesfull as its not right now or sony might change their minds and also hope that teh PS4 (if there is one) will be cheaper then the ps3.

The ps3 is succsesful! It is just going to have a rough start! They have been sold out everwhere in my area! Even the games! I was lucky and walked right into one!
