Hi,

I just got a M3 lite and because of the lack of instructions I'm a bit confused about emulation of roms others than DS and GBA.

I read the sticky guide for M3 users. Everythings work fine but there's something I don't understand. The guide says the best method is to use a standalone emulator.

Quote:
Using standalone GBA mode emulators is almost the same as the above method, but removes a majority of the problems associated with using the Gamemanager.

The advantages this has over using the Gamemanager is that the filesize of the ROMs does not increase, there are no huge save files created and you can easily update the emulator
Here's what I don't understand. If there is no huge save files created, how is the in-game save persisted on my flash card like it does for gba games ?

Also, where could I find more infos for the M3 Lite. I found m3wiki.org but there wasn't too much useful info for beginner on how to play retro ROMS and what are the built-in emulators in the M3 Lite. I know there pocketNES and goomba but I don't know of any other.

thanks for your help.
