The CD binders you see all over the place just charge you for a fancy cloth case.

Go to an office supplies store and buy the disc pages seperately then put them inside a 3 ring binder for a couple of bucks. This is a super cheap way to go and you can easily add and remove the pages for filing.

yeah but the binders zip up to keep the dust out!! which is very important

We shall go to the end,we shall fight in France,we shall fight on the seas and oceans,we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air,we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,we shall fight on the beaches,we shall fight on the landing grounds,we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,we shall fight in the hills;we shall never surrender

Unless you get the correct size, just buying CD pages and sticking them into any 3 ring binder will not do anything. One, when the binder is closed, the pages will protrude from binder itself. Two, if you have too many pages, the binder will not even be closed evenly. Three, one and two do nothing as to preserving the discs.

You can find CD binders very cheap. I found one seller on Ebay that sells very sturdy binders for very cheap. It was the 500 binder for under 15 dollars. If you go to a retail store and check the prices of their binders, the cheapest ones are like 23 dollars.

Just as some people like to bin dive at BlockBusters (our's are locked) I scour the secondhand stores. Perfectly good, hardly used CaseLogic Koskin 128 for around $2. I've found quite a few, for myself and my kids. One man's junk is another man's treasure!

1. 3 ring binders are still better because you can move the pages around for easy filing which is something you can't do in regular cd binders.

2. Zippers break and jam then the binder is useless.

3. The problem with cd binders the ones that hold a lot are 2 friggin heavy. With 3 ring binders you can split em up.

4. They are still cheaper.

But it's $52.00 which is pretty steep. I don't have that much money to spend on a case and you still have to buy the sleeves to put in it.

That sure looks nice man. I'm thinking of getting one (real soon). How heavy does it weight by chance? Does it comes with everything as pictures shown?

I'll have to check that out sometime. Been buying the 208 disc Caselogic ones at Microcenter for $17.99 & have 6 of them. One is for data discs, another is for classical music CD's, another for sermone & still another for Southern Gospel music. Two left & the partially full ones all hold burned discs. Burned movie DVD's are stored in slimline DVD cases on shelves with my store bought DVD's.
