Nero 7 Ultra Edition Install error

I purchased a full retail version of Nero 7 Ultra Edition. I installed the program and it never would play any DVD format. I contacted Nero and was told to run all their Clean-Up utilities and then reinstall the Nero 7 Ultra Edition, which I did.

When I try the reinstall, Nero says it cannot find 6AA758CA.Cab in the d:\CAB folder on the CD. It asks me to confirm that the file is available (I assume they mean in my CAB files on my local disk). I searched my HD and the Cab file referenced above is not anywhere to be found.

I am running Windows 2000 Professional with all the latest Service Packs installed and I.E. 6.

I do not know what to do now. It seems that their clean-up utilities has either done something, or removed a file from the registry. Why all the CAB files are not on the CD (which is where Nero was looking --- D:\) is beyond me.

I will take any assistance anyone can offer.
