wii component cable issues while using gamecube games on wii

so far this only affects one game i know of i was wodering if anyone has had similier issues

let me explain

so i went out and purchased a cheap copy at my local gamestop of bmx xxx for the gamecube because i like the games strip poker mode anyways i went to play the game on my wii and all i kept getting was a blank screen now i though oh no my disk is damaged no it is because acclaim didn't place any Progressive scan mode information on the game so if you try to play in pergressive scan mode the game crashes right away where if you go into the wii's settings menu and tell it your on standard tv mode even though you are connected to a hd tv cable it works kinda weird huh

i was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue

with any other gamecube titles on the wii

Well OF course it will work its running it ib 480i but better quality,id say quality of S-video so this isnt a miracle like most of your posts make it sound.

it's not that i have ran into games tat say they are not Progressive scan compatible and turn out to be like for instance

sonic adventure dx is not Progressive scan enabled occording to the packaging on the outside of the game but yet it is Progressive scan compatible and runs in hd tv mode on the wii

it just depend on the title weather the title was built cheaply or expensivly look at metroid it supports Progressive scan mode and looks great doing it and it even says it does on the packaging

the only game i have had issues with is bmx xxx and super mario sunshine because super mario sunshine in HDTV mode blinds you because of the cell shading man did my eyes hert
