While using Nero StartSmart (I think it was NeroVision Express) the DVD I was trying to burn has been encoding for 7 hours and still isn't done! Is there an option to somehow speed this up? Help appreciated!

If you post your NeroHistory log, we can see specifics about your computer that might help. Take out your serial number and try to edit it to only the last couple of burn attempts.
