My Wii can get Mii from my friends but the messages dont come all I get is messages about TODAYS GAME HISTORY and you got a new WI-Fi friend or somthing,Please help!

are you sending messages to your friends and are they sending some to you

if so i would say then the fire wall is engaged on your router and blocking your messages
