I thought you could, but I'm probablly wrong. Because I thought I remembered reading somewhere that you could use an external HDD to store the virtual console games on. But I can't remember wether Nintendo said that before or after it released so they probablly changed it.

It is possible to get power from the USB ports, and to use a USB ethernet adapter to get wired internet but as of now, nothing else can be done with them.

Nintendo has said that it is possible for them to include support for other USB devices in a firmware update such as an external HDD but has no plans on doing so just yet. Give it time.

Its highly unlikely they will since its easier to homebrew and pirate with a 100gb rather then a 2gb sd card you could store games etc.

Yeah, I see your point. Because I forgot that those virtual console games don't take up very much space. And I don't really see a point in needing 100 GB for the Wii.

DO you know what would be cool GCN games on the VC all they need is to add USB support to store games whihc are about 1.5gb each and they could charge you 25au would be fair and it wouldnt need to actually emulate it since they could program the rom to use the Wii's cpu so the wii thinks it has a disc sort of like mounting an Iso just an Idea but im 98% sure it would work and would be cool.

That would be cool, but can't you already play GC games on Wii? Or am I wrong on that again lol. I need to find a place to get some good info on the Wii. I think the place I found all this stuff at was wrong. But it's sad because, I own a Wii and don't know this stuff.

Happiness is not having the things you want, its wanting the things you have.
