i have been using dvd shrink recently to back up my movies on to 1 dvd.

however, i am interested in preserving all of the features of some of my dvds (extras, etc.) without loss of quality. in other words, burning to 2 dvds.

can someone please help point me in the right direction using some type of freeware product that will split the dvd and preserve the quality.

Rip all contents to a folder without compression. Create two new folders. Open TMPGEnc DVD Author (get user guide and program in link in my signature below) and select half of the VOB's and begin output to one folder. Do the same with the second. There ya go
