Ok, I am in an interesting situation. I have a D-Link router that was installed about a year ago by my computer technician. He has sense gone out of business and I cannot get ahold of him. He set a user name and password and I believe he once told me but I cant seem to remember. Is it possible to get into my router without resetting it completely.

I have the settings how I want them and I wouldnt know how to change them back if resetted.

The simple answer is no. You will either have to reset and lose all the configuration that was set by the tech or try to remember your password. I believe the default user name for d-link is admin and nothing for the password field. Have you try that yet?

Yeah I tryed the default. So, there isnt any way of getting the password, or completely getting rid of it?
