I realise this may sound incredibly thick but i have seen these emulators for download and was intrigued. i am a big games fan but am completly lost with this on. do i need the original console and hook it up to my amc or do i need to download the games or something completly different.
please take pity and help out what i may suspect be a complete loser

You will need the emulator, a roms (games that you own) and for some emulators the BIOS of the gaming console ( in that case you would legally need to own the console) then launch the emulator, load the rom (game) that you downloaded (but you must own the game legally) and play it!!!

Front Load NES, DreamCast, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, MacBook Pro (w/ Laser Etching), iPhone 8Gb (w/ Laser Etching)
