I bought the wrong HD for my Xbox (SATA) I have bought a sata to ide converter. Problem is that the ide hook-up on the converter is female. So all I would be able to do is plug the HD with the converter, directly into the motherboard. But the xbox ide cable goes; Motherboard to disc drive to HD. I cant find a sata to ide converter that has a male ide hook-up. Also I get the 07 error code when I hook it up directly to the motherboard. Any suggestions on what to do.
